Fafe (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈfaf(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 219.1 km² and a total population of 53,528 inhabitants. The city itself has a population of 14,144.[1]
The municipality is composed of 36 parishes, and is located in the Braga District.
The present Mayor is José Martins Ribeiro, elected by the Socialist Party.
